2012 Ford Mustang "Blue Angels" Edition

Each year, Ford rolled out a special edition Mustang for the whole the very purpose of the auction it off at EAA AirVenture in July in favor of the EAA Young Eagles program. These children - like all single-car edition - very rare for the simple reason that there is only one of them did.

This year, one-off, aviation-themed Mustang GT was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of naval aviation. It comes with a concrete blue-yellow color scheme, which takes a color from the "Blue Angels" fighter group with a yellow "Blue Angels" script and crest on the door. In addition, the comb can also be found on the inside of the car, where they are sewn into the leather seats Recaro.

In addition, Ford has also upgraded the transmission Mustang, improved output 5.0-liter V8 engine car with 412 horsepower to 500 horsepower. There's also a Ford Racing handling package, new exhaust and performance treadmill is able to brake.

Last year, Ford has sold at auction Mustang SR-71 "Blackbird" for $ 375 thousand. Judging by the enthusiastic turn out for these events, we would not be surprised if the Mustang GT "Blue Angels" edition hits that mark the other hand, perhaps even surpasses it.
